OWNING AIRSOFT GUNS

ELECTRIC POWERED GUNS
Electric guns, or more commonly known as AEGs, are the most popular form of airsoft gun. Their popularity is due to their consistency, ability to upgrade, and availability. The are powered using rechargeable batteries. The most common being NiMH or LiPO. Stock AEG rifles in Canada typically shoot 366 FPS+ using a 0.20g BB. The majority of AEGs have a fire selector, allowing you to choose between Safe, Semi-Automatic, and Full-Automatic. The AEG is the most recommended platform for all of these reasons.
SPRING POWERED GUNS
Spring powered guns are simply powered through a cock and shoot system. To operate, you either pull back the bolt handle or pistol slide to cock, return to forward position, then pull the trigger to shoot. Using an internal piston and compressed air to function, spring guns are the most cost-effective option. We carry many high-powered sniper rifles, along with internal and external upgrade options available to truly maximise their potential. While these types of guns have an extremely low rate of fire, you do not have to worry about running out of gas or your battery running out of power.
GAS POWERED GUNS
Gas powered guns are revered due to their realism. They use compressed gas to propel the BB through the barrel of an airsoft gun. Most will have a realistic blowback feature, which will either internally cycle a bolt or externally cycle a slide. The types of gas used in these airsoft guns are either Co2 or Green Gas (propane). These types of guns typically have magazines that have realistic capacities, which makes these guns ideal for MILSIMs and target shooting.

CO2 OR GREEN GAS
What is the difference between CO2 and Green Gas? Here is a quick comparison: CO2 is a high pressure gas, meaning you will get a higher velocity and a snappier blowback. They perform better in colder temperatures and typically last longer in a pistol magazine than Green Gas does. Green Gas is a mixture of propane and silicone oil. This prevents your guns seals from being dried out. It doesn’t perform as well as CO2 in colder temperatures, but it is typically cheaper than CO2 and it causes less strain on your guns.
